Apple launches Coronavirus screening website https://www.apple.com/covid19 & IOS App in association with CDC, The White House & FEMA

The is the very first screen of Coronavirus app & website where the tool starts a questionnaire to examine the condition & suggest what to do according to your current health condition.

When you start screening, the next window opens ask a simple question either you want to examine yourself or someone else. We did an example screening (just for illustration purpose to show tool’s options nothing else) So we did one test to see what the result is and we selected “Use for Myself

On the first screen after selecting “Use for Myself” we have 2 options with a few symptoms mentioning and if we click on “I have at least one of these symptoms”

  • Constant chest pain or pressure
  • Extreme difficulty breathing
  • Severe, constant dizziness or lightheadedness
  • Slurred speech
  • Difficulty waking up

If you think you have any of these symptoms you should seek medical care right away, go by yourself or call health care to arrange a test for you.

When We Click 2nd Option in Coronavirus App/Website

The next screen appears with 3 options asking about the age

And this tool is not designed for under 18 so we continued with between 18 & 64 and the next screen appeared with a few questions to select whatever applies

We choose 3 options just to see results, but next screen appeared with more questions

So we selected 2 more options and continued

The next question was very famous asking about travel history

So we choose the first option again and continued…

And the next question was very complicated for someone who’s not so much medically aware but that’s very important as well,

So again we choose 2 yes options … and also tried “i don’t know” option as well.

The next screen remained same after both answers asking about exposure about covid19 “covid-19

Again we tried both positive and negative answers

And the next screen was “Result” suggesting what to do next, and the result was as bellow

As we selected possibly yes type of answers so the result is as according,

And we should follow the result suggestion as this is not an ordinary coronavirus app or website

This website & App does not require users to login or create account and also Apple does not collects personal information as per Apple notes, Apple still may collect some information how you use it, “your answers are not collected” to help improve the website.
